How to make money selling ad space on your website or blog

In this article, I will tell you more about a money making method that could bring you in some good decent money. If you ever tried Adsense you will notice that you don’t have much to say about the CPC or ECPM. You place the code and then Google defines what you get per click and ECPM.

If you want to take control over your own ad placements you could start selling ads on your site, and I will tell you exactly why I think you should use this option as well as I recommend you to stick with Adsense, just combine the two methods and earn extra. I will tell you more about PayPal in one of my later articles but to let you know what you are signing up to I will shortly describe the function of PayPal. They offer a way to send and receive money through your email account and combine it with your bank account. This means you can transfer the money you earn online to your bank account, pretty smart right?

You need a PayPal account to receive the money you earn selling your ad space and this way you can transfer them out to your bank account and spend them in the local store or buy a nice gift for someone you love.

You set the price you want to make on the ad space every month on recurring payment, and keep 70% (up to 80%) of the income and this money will be sent to your PayPal account. Type in the site title select what kind of type your ad space is website or blog of course

Type in your url and a site description for potential customers to read

Select auto approve ads

Choose a category for your website or blog.

Now you just have to wait for the site to be approved by Advertisespace.com and you are ready to next step.

If or should I say when your site gets approved, you will be provided with a manage link next to your page status click this manage link

Create a new ad zone you can chose between following sizes: 125×125 – 260×125 – 88×31 give the ad space an name (Sidebar Ad).

Set your price.

Choose a ad space button style and click continue

Copy the code and insert it on your blog or website in a widget or in your code where you want to show the ad.

Now visitors on your website can see the ad space click the buy now button pay for the ad and you will receive money.

If no advertisers then the ad button will be shown to visitors.
