For a couple of days ago, I decided it was in my blogs best interest that I’ve signed up on several online social networks and blog sharing communities.

I have signed up for Orkut, Blogged, Facebook, Myspace, heck I even created a brand new newsletter for all you guys. But I also signed up for Technorati.

I did not know anything about it when signing up, other then I hoped that I could get some readers from their site later on. The first thing I did after I was done creating my profile and had logged into my account for the first time, was to add my own blog to Technorati.

They had some kind of verification process where I had to post a blog post containing a word phrase given to me by Technorati so I did.

And after I was done I had to wait a couple of hours on a moderator to manual validate my blog. Finally when this was done my blog was online viewable for other readers on Technorarti.

So I noticed that I started with a Technorati rating of about 100 but today it is grown to Auth: 122 with change +2. I can also see that my blog has a ranking of 34.365 with an arrow up indicating that it is growing on their site getting better rankings.

Hopefully it will continue this way and I hope that you will comment my posts on Technorati if you have a user on their site.
